Our Step-By-Step Process

The Beauceron Security Default Onboarding Training Workflow is a core Workflow assigned to all new users by default that contains surveys, required courses and phishing simulations. Designed with a positive cybersecurity culture in mind, the Default Onboarding Training Workflow helps organizations provide the right context and education to the right people, so they can make cybersafe decisions by empowering people to reduce their cyber risk. 

Survey & Educate Your Teams

Employees are presented with a Welcome Email and an initial Awareness, Perceptions and Behaviors survey to assess baseline awareness across divisions or the entire organization. Once the survey is complete, employees are assigned 4 cybersecurity education modules to learn the basics of secure behavior. These modules include: 

  • Cybersecurity 101: The World of Cybercrime 
  • Cybersecurity 102: Hacking Humans 
  • Cybersecurity 103: Malware 
  • Cybersecurity 104: Securing Yourself

Simulate Real-World Cyberattacks 

After completing the initial survey and education modules, employees receive 3 initial phishing simulations to test their knowledge and to help build resilience.

These initial phishing simulations vary in difficulty, challenging your teams to learn how to spot and report a potentially malicious attack. We empower your teams to be the most powerful first line of defense against cyberattacks through real-word simulations. 

Reward & Positively Change Employee Behavior 

Upon completion of the initial survey, education modules and successfully catching the 3 phishing simulations, employees will receive a training completion certificate to reward safe behaviors.

For customers with the Premium Package, administrators are able to assign remediation paths for employees who fall for simulations to further educate and promote a positive learning environment.

What topics are covered in the Default Onboarding Training Workflow?
The Default Onboarding Training Workflow provides employees with the base-level training they need to identify and report potentially malicious attacks. Users will explore topics such as the cybersecurity threat landscape, what social engineering is and why it is so effective, the distinct types of cyber-attacks and how they can keep themselves secure at home and at work. The 4 core courses are as follows:
  • Cybersecurity 101: The World of Cybercrime
  • Cybersecurity 102: Hacking Humans
  • Cybersecurity 103: Malware
  • Cybersecurity 104: Securing Yourself
How long does the Default Onboarding Training Workflow take?
From the date of deployment, it will take users an estimated 14 days (about 2 weeks) to complete the entire training process. Once the user completes the 4 core courses (approx. 30-45 minutes in total), they will begin to receive phishing simulations over the next 10 –14 days. After successfully reporting all 3 simulations, users will then be presented with their final survey and certificate of completion. 
Can I view reporting metrics to see how my teams are doing?
Yes! Our robust PhishForward report lets administrators drill down and view users who have and have not completed the Standard Training Workflow. Keep your teams engaged and know exactly what actions you need to take to improve your program. 
Can I customize the course content and curriculum?
Yes! With the Premium Package, administrators can modify existing courses, add courses from the Marketplace, or add your own to the Default Onboarding Training Workflow. 
Can I have different Training Workflows for different divisions or users?
Yes! With the Premium Package, administrators can create as many custom Workflows as needed for the organization. Workflows can be customized by division or role, giving you full control over the onboarding and training process for each employee. 
What happens after employees complete the Default Onboarding Training Workflow?
With the Premium Package, administrators can assign periodic refresher or supplementary training to users once the Default Onboarding Training Workflow is complete. This can be assigned for a specific period (i.e. quarterly, annually, etc.) for individual users or divisions.
